Generic Linux init.d scripts for both munin-node and munin-async-server
|Reported by:||Tenzer||Owned by:||nobody|
Having messed around with Munin 2.0 alpha2 and trunk lately, I have been missing some generic init.d scripts for Linux, since those that exists only work for SUSE and Redhat derived distributions. So I have created two scripts for munin-node and munin-async-server, which are supposed to work without bash-isms, with /bin/sh and without relying on any distribution specific way of starting services.
The scripts also include comments which are required by the LSB standard, and the scripts should use the exit statuses defined in LSB, but again, without relying on having the LSB specific scripts installed.
I have written the scripts with the variable replacement from Makefile in mind, but I don't know where they should be placed in the source tree in order to be processed properly - hence why the bare files are attached and not a real patch.
Suggestions for changes are of course welcome.
