Description (last modified by lars)
Problem: When a node stop responding for some (unknown) reason, and the node is not (yet) under Nagios surveillance, it would be nice to have the node-servername change color on the front-page (where the list of servers are).
Solution: When a node stops responding for X-number of tries (X*5 minutes), it will turn yellow/red on the front-page. This will help to quickly see which server are down/not responding or where munin-node has died. Se attached picture.
It could probably be a configuration setting - but should default to on IMHO.

I would just like to add that this request is also something I really miss. I overlooked a server being down after some maintenance since nothing indicated it did collect data anymore from the munin overview page. This is especially important when many servers are being monitored.

Pushing to 3.0 were we'll scale up our UI

There is some propagation of warning and critical states in the web hierarchy. "unknown" should be propagated too. Orange is used in nagios.
