Petter Reinholdtsen <pere_at_hungry.com> submitted an interesting bug report in Debian:

We'll add this, either as a separate module, or as an additional field in if_err_ (the latter one probably makes most sense).

Added monitoring of packet drops and collisions to the Linux if_err_ plugin in r4780.
